In 2014 the Redfern Aboriginal Tent Embassy had been setup in “The Block” located near the Redfern Train Station to protest a developer building apartment buildings there without providing affordable housing for indigenous Australians. After I heard the NSW Supreme Court had ruled in favour of the developer in 2015 I went out to the site and spent time there during the last week that the occupiers led by indigenous activist Jenny Munro were allowed on the land.
